LIST OF REQUIREMENTS

PRIOR TO FILING:

1. Name, nationality and address of applicant.
2. Factory or business address.
3. The specific goods or services to be covered. Note: There are no multiple class applications. Each must be filed separately.
4. Date of first use of the trademark in Mexico, if any. (Day, month and year.)
5. Print of trademark, to make electrotype. If in colors, then 12 prints of the Trademark will be required.
6. Power of attorney duly executed by the authorized officer of the company. No notarization or consular legalization is required. It is recommended to attach a certificate of good standing of the corporation. This document may be filed within a 30 day term counted from filing date. Please fill in all the information requested at the bottom of this document.
7. For service marks, the address of the main place of business is required instead of the factory address.

There are 2 examinations, one to verify that all documents are annexed and the second to verify if the proposed trademark is registrable and that there are no prior registrations or applications.
