Daniela Vázquez joined the Firm in 2013. She specializes in Intellectual Property Law; intellectual property protection; copyright protection; industrial property protection; registration and prosecution of trademarks, notices and trade names; trademark and copyright searches; registration and prosecution of works and reservations of rights before the National Copyright Institute; analysis of registrability of distinctive signs; trademark infringement, filing and prosecution of oppositions. Maintenance of industrial property (preparation of reports, strategies and responses in connection with official notices issued by the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property, licenses, assignments, mergers, coexistence agreements, letters of consent, renewals and declarations of use). Follow-up on the processing of international registrations, as well as preparation of reports and strategy in connection with provisional refusals issued by the Authority; consulting on Industrial Property matters; preparation of due diligence on industrial property assets. Preparation and review of licensing and franchise agreements; confidentiality, distribution, service provision and commercial agreements. General knowledge in regulatory matters: Mexican Official Standards (NOMS) and product labeling.
